Hi there— I’m the founder of GuerrillaGivers. GuerrillaGivers emerged from the belief that the world is hungry for moments of unexpected joy. The project thrives on the philosophy that impactful change can begin with the simplest, most spontaneous gestures. The immense power of small acts of kindness can create a ripple effect of positivity. We are on a mission to revolutionize the concept of giving.
We are going to start small, using forms of GuerrillaGiving to give back to people in the local community. If a community of GuerrillaGivers forms it would be amazing. We know that if we put money into this project and it gets no traction, at least the money and energy is being used to put a smile on other people’s faces.
GuerrillaGiving
Here are some examples of GuerrillaGiving so our community can get involved in this project:
-
Everyone could use a flower to brighten up their day. Set out a bucket or a vase full of individual roses on a community mailbox and write a note to, “Please take one. Have a great day!”
-
At your local grocery store leave a gift card inside a random greeting card. Someone will be shopping for a card and open it up. Leave a note saying they chose the right card, it’s their lucky day.
-
This example is free to do. Go to the library and leave a friendly note on a piece of paper and slip it in a book. Write a compliment or something nice about how fate brought them to this note.
